In april 2017 Rift were accepted on ‘wave one’ of the ‘Technology Developer Accelerator Program’ or TDAP run by the advanced propulsion centre (APC) who are based on the Warwick university campus
32 companies were accepted. Roughly half of the original applicants showcasing the strength of the Rift innovation.
Rift successfully got through the competitive ‘gateways’ over the next 18 months eventually graduating top of the class in august 2018
The key objective was to demonstrate Rift technology in a vehicle. This was done in the summer of 2018 using a retrofitted G-wiz electric vehicle.
